It takes at least half an hour to skim through a week’s worth of comments (sometimes they number over 200). I don’t feel like doing it anymore. I doubt the feature will be missed.

Why don’t you have an open thread and allow your readers to pick the best ones or something

It will be missed! Why have each of your many readers waste our half-hours, when just you could waste one of yours.
Otherwise said people, will get frustrated and start an intiative that throws garbage at all bearded men in DC, in hopes of catching you at least once.

Isn’t that type of work what interns are for? I bet Sally could handle it.
